Resetting is about letting go.
I read this quote years ago. “When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging,” ~Will Rogers
Well, that is what I have done… I stopped digging.
I started something… and well, just didn’t like it. So, I stopped – which is the best thing we can do at times. I stopped and just watched. I allowed the dust to settle.
Then I made the decision – to reset Starling Photography. It no longer fit – well me. So, changes are coming – as I feel the site should be more about me and less about what I know. or think I know. More about my observations in this world. {More about that coming}
For now.
Resetting is about letting go. It’s stepping back and dropping the weight you’ve been hauling around—old expectations, routines that don’t fit anymore, the idea that you have to keep going in the same direction just because you started there.
It doesn’t mean you failed or quit. It means you’re willing to clear some space and see what else is possible.
When you let go, you give yourself room to breathe. You ease up on the pressure. You come back to a place inside that feels steady and honest, where you can ask, What matters to me right now?
Sometimes the real courage isn’t in pushing through. It’s in stopping for a moment, taking a breath, and choosing to begin again.
