The Visual Intervention (Received in 2009 – Near Raleigh, North Carolina) presents the stark beauty of contrast in a close-up shot where light and shadow collide. A dark, rust clings to one side, its rough surface breaking into the pristine white that’s cracked and patterned like a dried riverbed. It’s as if we’re witnessing the very moment of awakening, where the dark recedes, giving way to the light, each crack a pathway to new beginnings and each shadow a reminder of our past stories.
