The Visual Intervention (Received in 2010 – Near Raleigh, North Carolina) presents a solitary leaf tinged with the vibrant, fiery colors of autumn floats gracefully on the surface of a dark, still body of water. The leaf, now detached from the tree that gave it life, is a symbol of the natural cycle of growth and release. It also speaks to a greater spiritual journey — the idea of transcendence. As the leaf drifts over the reflective water, it represents the soul's movement beyond the known world, floating towards a higher state of being.
