The Visual Intervention (Received in 2010 – Jones Lake, North Carolina) presents a black and yellow butterfly resting on a textured sandy surface, its delicate wings open as if to embrace the vastness around it. The butterfly, often a symbol of transformation and growth, echoes the concept of conscious evolution – the intentional development of one's inner self to adapt and thrive in changing environments. Just as the butterfly evolves through stages to take flight, this solitary figure on the sand represents the potential within each of us to embark on a journey of personal and collective transformation, becoming more aware and in tune with our surroundings.
