The Wait
And a Cat Waits.
Milo is waiting by the door for his #1 hooman. He knows when she’s on her way—some invisible thread of knowing that hums through him long before the key ever turns in the lock.
There’s something quietly profound about it. The way he trusts in her return without question. No impatience, no doubt. Just a soft readiness.
Maybe that’s its own kind of Zen. Being so present, so sure of your place in someone’s life, that waiting doesn’t feel like lack—it feels like belonging.
